A Luxury Inn at the center of Newport's Historic "Old Quarter"
Welcome to Newport's Hydrangea House Inn...
...and enter a world of grace, elegance and style where the intimate charm of
Hydrangea House is complemented only by its prestigious Bellevue Avenue
address where once lived the Vanderbilt's, the Astors and the Dukes. Our
Newport Rhode Island bed and breakfast's proximity to the magical gilded age
mansions, recreational harbor, historic sites, fine dining and extraordinary
shopping means that you can walk to almost everything right from the front
door. All ten rooms and suites are individually decorated with a dramatic use
of color, sumptuous fabrics , trims and elegant furnishings. Suites have the
added luxury of a two-person spa tub, marble shower with steam bath, flat
screen television and complimentary WIFI. All rooms offer plush robes, triple
sheeting, long distance and local calling, CD players and iPod hook-ups.
Complimentary wine and cheese is served daily in the parlor or on one of the
inn's expansive porches. A bountiful gourmet breakfast daily and don't miss our
home-made chocolate chip cookies nightly.

We look forward to your eventual stay with us at our Newport Rhode Island inn.

“We booked a one night stay at the Hydrangea House and soon realized we needed more time in lovely Newport, so added two more nights. Upon arrival we were told the owners had called and upgraded us to a suite! The Inn is a complete redo, so it doesn't have any original features, but what it does have is solid, quiet, beautifully done rooms, a lovely mix of antiques with modern amenities like plumbing that works, sufficient a/c, high end bedding and towels, free Wi-Fi, discreet TVs and ours even had a fireplace. They were sold out for our fourth and fifth night, but found us a place right around the corner. The location is on the same street as most of the famous mansions available for touring and has free onsite parking, and is also within easy walking distance to the wharf. A rooftop bar is a five minute walk away for great sunsets.
Room Tip: Best location. Quiet but near everything.” -  TripAdvisor, Margo B, August 23, 2012
